Binky Bridge

In honor of the rabbits that left us too soon we have made a place for them to be remembered.
Forever in our hearts, and just a hop away.
Picture
Lucy's Babies

You were born too early and were not ready to be in this world. To young to nurse, unable to suckle... we had to say goodbye but not for forever. We will see you again on the other side of the rainbow.

Picture
Rusty

Nothing could have prepared us for the events that occurred that took you from this world. We will forever be wishing that we could have done something more something different.
We will see you on the other side sweet boy.

Picture
Potter

Before he joined our family, Potter lived a tough life outdoors on his own. Despite his past he was very friendly and very fearless. Potter has a large personality that can not be forgotten. We miss you buddy, you were so wonderful!

Shiloh

This sweet angel was found by a family after it had been abandoned outside.
HHRR received a late night call and headed out immediately the next day in torrential down pour to pick the rabbit up. From first glace, it was easy to see that this rabbit was in poor condition. We contacted Lisa Bruce of Dancing Rabbit Refuge for assistance knowing that his poor creature was going to need serious treatment. Once in Lisa's care it was determined that Shiloh had multiple teeth issues. Shiloh appeared to have been having her teeth trimmed without proper vet care and as a result, the mouth was greatly swollen and there were multiple abscess in on the jaw. The body condition score was a 1/10 and it didn't seem like this tiny rabbit had eaten in some time (likely due to its' sore infected mouth). There was also urine scalding, broken toes and very severely advanced fly strike. The genitalia was too mutilated for Shiloh to be sexed. We figure that once Shiloh's dental issues became too much, that it was simply tossed outside like trash. There were no fleas, mites or dirt on it's coat (despite all of the rain).

This little Angel passed in Lisa's arms later that evening as he/she was stroked and told that he/she was beautiful and loved. Shiloh found his/her way to the bridge with love and kindness. Shiloh was too sick for us to do anything but provide comfort. Shiloh touched us deeply and has left a deep impression on our hearts.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin was rescued from an auction for $0.25 when nobody else wanted him. Weaned too young from his mother, he had some health complications that ended up taking his life. This tiny baby boy has broken the hearts of many, but he got to know love and kindness in his short life.

Picture
Eve
Eve passed suddenly while in her foster home. She was a pure delight and everyone loved her. Binky free our little angel, we will miss you forever.

Picture
Bud and Bloom
The babies we never got to meet but hold dear to our hearts. Tulip suddenly went into labor, but sadly her babies were stillborn.

Picture
Pudge
Surrendered at nearly 10 years old, Pudge stayed with us as a sanctuary rabbit. We all fell in love with his spirited personality and made sure he enjoyed every single day he was with us. His immune system became weaker and the medication provided started doing worse than good. Pudge enjoyed his last days with Danielle Thomas who fed him extra yummy meals each day. Pudge passed suddenly and quickly in her arms the morning of Dec 8, 2015.
Picture
Harley
Surrendered in late 2017 with her bonded partner, (HHRR bun) Pebz, after her owner made the decision to return to school and no longer had time to care for the two bonded rabbit. Harley became ill with what we thought were gi issues, but despite treatment and a willingness to eat, she passed away.
